We will design and deliver a provisioning platform on top of which we will create a replacement for the current Update Manager.  The provisioning platform will allow others to create provisioning systems to meet the needs of large and small enterprises and systems. [Equinox]

This work is already underway in the equinox incubator. All people interested should tune on the equinox-dev mailing list.
