Description Chris Aniszczyk CLA 2007-08-05 15:59:11 EDT
Since Mylyn is my dirty mistress and I've been taking on more Eclipse work lately... I've been annoying by something.

If I activate a task, and apply a patch from the task, my context doesn't get updated with the changes from the patch. This would be a huge productivity boost for me if I didn't have to keep synchronizing with CVS and adding things to my context manually. I would like to see this done automatically.

Does this sound reasonable?

Sorry for the very slow reply, vacation schedules.

Yup, this is a very reasonable request and has been requested before. While making this happen automatically is tricky (see bug 153574), we have a mechanism that allows you to do it with a couple of clicks. Since it's pretty burried I just added documentation on how to use it: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn_User_Guide#Working_with_patches

If that doesn't work for you please comment here or on bug 153574.
