console log from tagging files using Eclipse
The odd thing here is that this problem seems to only happen on the old R2_0_maintenance branch. The really odd part is that I'm tagging as nickb, not anonymous... so why does cvs need anonymous' lock?
This is likely because of a stale lock on one of the nodes. Karl, can you look at /var/lock/cvs in the nodes, in /modeling/org.eclipse.emf/org.eclipse.emf/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.codegen.ecore/src/org/eclipse/emf/codegen/ecore/genmodel/impl... (look in the attachment) and delete any stale locks for anonymous? I'm sitting at pdx and don't want to log in. Thanks Nick, many apologies that I didn't see this yesterday. I have removed what I believe was the offending lock. If that was the problem you should be good to go. (In reply to comment #3) > Nick, many apologies that I didn't see this yesterday. This was neither urgent nor blocking, and I know you guys are about as swamped as I am (if not more so), so a day's delay is both reasonable and well within limits. If I'd been in a panic I'd have been bug-nagging or IM-nagging you. Whatever you did fixed the problem -- thanks!. Closing bug. -- Speaking of outstanding issues, where do we stand on the EMFT migration from tech to modeling? Can you drop me a line when you get a chance (or update those bug(s)) with how you'd like me to proceed? We all want everything out of tech ASAP, but I don't want to inconvenience the committers (Martin + Eike) by breaking their builds or their workspaces (by moving their repo without their consent). |
