Is there a way to specify the starting page number in the birt report design or/and reportEngin? I know there is a way to do so in the Actuate.

defer to next major milestone. We need resolve most of the page-break/page-number/page-script issues together.

The user can use the page variable to implement this feature, see the attached example in 159857
