Description

Quick Access currently highlights matching characters using bold font to explain why a certain item is a match. If we match against keywords, I'd say we have to display those keywords, perhaps after their name and path. What do you think? I think that gets too verbose for a drop-down like that, but you're right in that there needs to be some indication as to why an item was matched. Could we append the matching keyword in italics? Showing all of the registered keywords would require an unknown amount of space--they're not normally surfaced in the UI so there's no implicit limit in place on how many are specified. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 526480 *** |
