It would be helpful to provide atleast a link, or the description of the user story when opening an XPlanner task.

That is a great idea! 

I'd also suggest to add some support for hyperlink detectors to xplanner connector (though that should probably go to a separate report)

Helen: you can stick these into the Attributes section for now.  We are likely to create something along the lines of a Related Tasks section in the 3.0 cycle and the way this needs to work for XPlanner would provide valuable input.

Eugene: yes, please file a new bug report for hyperlinking.

The XPlanner connector is no longer being maintained and supported as part of the Mylyn project. If you require support for the XPlanner connector please consider options provided by 3rd parties: http://eclipse.org/mylyn/support/.
