Description Kendric Wang CLA 2007-07-13 13:30:29 EDT
Build ID: I20070625-1500

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Setup RAC on Linux machine using Java142 (for piagent)
2. Start ACServer with security enabled.
3. Launch (remotely) HeapTest from Windows workbench. Ensure that the "Show instance-level information" check box is checked on the Profiling Options window.
4. Press enter twice.

In the Profiling Monitor, it shows that profiling for HeapTest has terminated. The HeapTest expects three Enters before terminating. On the linux machine, doing a ps -ef | grep java shows that the java process (HeapTest) is still running:

ractest 29706 29650 2 14:05 pts/0 00:00:02 /home/ractest/kendric/IBMJava2-142/jre/bin/java -XrunpiAgent:server=controlled HeapTest

When I kill this process, I get the following:

JVMDG217: Dump Handler is Processing Signal 11 - Please Wait.
JVMDG303: JVM Requesting Java core file
JVMDG304: Java core file written to /home/ractest/kendric/TPTP-4.4.0.1-200707090100/AC/bin/javacore.20070713.140900.29627.txt
JVMDG215: Dump Handler has Processed Exception Signal 11.

Also, I forgot to mention that when the workbench is first launched, I usually need to run the profile two or three times in a row to get the described symptoms.

Kendric, can you see if you are able to reproduce this during the 4.4.1 test pass?

Seems to be a problem in the older 4.4.0.1 build that was fixed in later releases. Thanks Kendric!

Closing as the bug is no longer reproducible.
