Description Alan Haggarty CLA 2007-07-13 12:36:20 EDT
Build ID: I20070625-1500

Steps To Reproduce:
With a environment configured for JVMPI profiling:

1. Launch and profile and external java application using
execution time analysis and "Show Execution Flow Graphical
Details" from the configuration.

2. After running it right click on the resulting profile
monitor and open with "Execution Flow".

3. Repeat the profiling launch but switch the configuration
to "Execution Statistics"

4. After running right click the monitor - "Execution Flow" is
still there and will open with data.

5. repeat step three - opening config but leave it at
execution statistics and profile.

6. now the the resulting monitor will only have "Execution
Statistics" as an "open with" option.

More information:
I can reproduce this with JVMPI (java 1.4.2) and not TI.
I have been reproducing it on Windows Vista with the 4.4.0.1
build 07090100B using the StartStop test class from the
automation framework.

This is using sun jre 1.4.2_14 as opposed to IBM 1.5 SR5
Comment 1 Jonathan West CLA 2007-11-05 16:51:01 EST
Reproduceable with 4.4.0.3 on Sun 1.4.2 and Vista.

Bug 200058 was resolved, which resolves this bug as well.

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
