when trying to synchronize tasks to trac through the XMLRPC I get this error 

"Task Synchronization Failed

'dictionary key must be string' while executing 'ticket.get()' "

Which version of Trac and the TracXmlRpcPlugin are you using?

This seems to be related to custom fields (see also: https://trac-hacks.org/ticket/871). Could you post the types of custom fields you use in your Trac configuration if any? 

Which version of Python does the server hosting your Trac repository use?
