Unless you are looking for advanced features, it should be extremely easy to create template for web connector. Let me know if you need help with that.

Please note that we generally consider the best home for such connectors to be the originating project, since that helps the connector evolve along with the underlying system.  Let's use this bug to discuss any integration issues and gather interest.
