After downloading I20070625-1500 and a large part of Europa I see the Welcome view again.

If I hover over an icon on the top, I see a tooltip.  If I move my mouse cursor down from the menu to the items, I see tooltips flash all over the icons at the top until they finally settle.

Is this a custom tooltip problem?

Tod, Welcome uses embedded browser to host intro content. The tooltip is native.

It's similar ... In my case what happens is on the "Overview" page of welcome.  When you mouse over any of the top icons, the tooltip appears in what looks normal.

If, however, you come down to the icon from the menu above, the tooltip flickers over each of the previous icons in the order that they have been activated.

I'll leave it to you if you want to close this as a dup.  I'm hip with that :-)

I'm pretty sure it has the same root cause as Bug 193335 but I'll keep this open until Bug 193335 is fixed since the symptoms are different.
