Queries should stay expanded as before clearing the find string (clearing the last character from the search string as well as when clicking the x button)

This is a safeguard to prevent a large Task List from showing thousands of elements which can be slow.  But we could consider removing it.

Understood. Should not matter though if I had already manually expanded the task list before. So my suggestion- restore the collapsation (?) state as it was before search?
