Description Rohit Shetty CLA 2007-06-12 13:41:42 EDT
Build ID: I20070525-1350

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Open the profiling and Logging perspective and switch to the log navigator if not already active.
2. Import a log file (any type), let's identify it in our test case by log1, and save it in the workspace.
3. Import a different log file, say log2, but don't save it.
4. From the Log Navigator context menu choose Refresh and Do not refresh from file system. Verify that the content of the log navigator doesn't change.
5. Choose again Refresh but this time Refresh contents from file system.Verify that the log navigator refreshes and only the log file saved on disk (log1) is displayed.

Result - No log files are displayed.

Expected - The log file that is saved should be displayed.

I cannot reproduce the problem with tptp.sdk-TPTP-4.4.0-200706110100

Alex, Would you please take a look at the problem?
Comment 3 Alex Nan CLA 2007-06-13 11:40:14 EDT
I was able to reproduce the defect with TPTP-4.4.0-2007060110100 but not in the simple scenario that Rohit described, but after multiple tries and using mixed resources (both XMI and RDB) in my workspace. If only XMI resources are in the workspace the refresh from local seems to work but when also RDB resources are in the workspace then things are start to work randomly.

This is required from AC perspective.

This scenario seems like works fine with the latest TPTP.

Joanna,
Can you give me the version of tptp you noticed the problem with and the scenario?

I still need to verify Alex's scenario though.
Comment 9 Rohit Shetty CLA 2008-02-25 04:20:46 EST
Alex/Joana,
I tried all the scenario's listed .i.e. What Alex mentions and the initial problem we had found and things seem to be working fine with the latest 4.5 i5 driver.

I will be closing this bug as "Works For Me", Please re-open the bug with the scenario if the problem resurfaces again.
