To improve usability, the getLayoutContainer() method in LayoutEditPolicy should be made public instead of protected. One usage scenario would be a composite handling info registry that delegates requests to its contained edit policies dependent on their layout container.

I do not think that the usage scenario I had in mind when reporting this three years ago is a valid one, thus resolving this as invalid.
