After many CVS commands had dumped their output to the CVS console, the line 
coloring was no longer correct. Clearing the console fixed the problem.

It may be release comments with multiple lines that are throwing off the console

this has been fixed. Multiple line comments are still shown on separate lines
but the coloring is now correct.
