I was pretty much hosed at this point. I had to exit Eclipse and restart (which did work). Ran into the error again, but I'm having trouble getting reproducible steps. Note that this occurred when using the Update Manager views as fast views. Something strange is going on with their views. See PR [Bug 19098] Fast Views - general strange behavior Steps to recreate: 1. Close all perspectives. 2. Open Jave perspective. 3. Show View-->Update Manager-->select all views. 4. Make "Preview" a fast view. 5. Make "External Preview" and "Tasks" fast views. You might have to select amongst the tabs a few times and go back and forth to the short cut bar. Just make sure that these two views are what are made fast views. 6. Close all three fast views from the shortcut bar. 7. Attempt to select "Install Configuration" or "Feature Updates" tabs. Get widget disposed error. Can not close or reset perspective. Must exit and restart Eclipse. Again, something strange is going on with these views and I'm not sure if it is the update component or the platform. |
