scenario
- installed all europa features (except SOA) from the Europa Update Site on top a fresh 3.3 M7 install
- restarted
- went to the STP update site http://download.eclipse.org/stp/updates/ and install all available (7) projects
- restarted
- Window --> Open perspective --> SCA Java

--> nothing happens, an error is logged to the console (to be attached error)

sounds like my config is missing something to be able to activate the SCA perspective, though, from my end-user point of view, everything went OK.

Found in my .log file after my last RC1 installation:

At RC1 level, using the project's update site, I can install the STP features using the Update Manager.
However, after the mandatory re-boot after install, the STP feature sounds disabled.
This is confirmed by trying to install the feature using the project's update site: the STP features are still considered as installable.

sounds like bug 189599 and bug 187975 are related to the problem I encounter.

re-opening as unable to install SOA Tools from any update site.

Hence, unable to verify that this one is fixed
