can we leverage the same mechanism as in Java browing package view? Post change listener support got only added to the SelectionService not to a selection provider. So we can't simply copy the code that we use in JavaBrowsingPart no action for 2.0 Reopening |
Build F2. 1) Open the class swt.OS (or copy its contents on another java file). 2) Click in "Show source of selected item only". 3) Create lots of TXT files 4) Select the first on in the navigator and press arrow down. 5) Select the first item in the outline and press arrow down. Compare the performance of 4 and 5. Outline is too slow. Not sure why since it has a delay and does not show the items in the editor as the selection changes.
