Steps To Reproduce:
This is an intermittent problem. This sequence of events created the problem in the first place:
1. Java perspective
2. Run a plugin that generated output into the console
3. Stopped the application
4. Browsed some source files
5. Searched for the 'NLS' type with the search dialog
6. Clicked on one of the results
7. Maximized the editor with CTRL+M
