Create an SSH connection through the Dicovery wizard.
Select the Shells node, right-click > Launch shell.
In the user password dialog, press cancel.

RSE Still tries to connect, but then fails with an error message printed to stdout. It should silently cancel instead.

This may be a duplicate of bug #160810 and/or bug #176605.

Martin, isn't it also fixed with the fix for bug 149285?
Comment 2 Martin Oberhuber CLA 2008-05-05 15:49:16 EDT
Indeed, thanks. Marking this as dup of bug 176605 -- keeping the other one open due to additional issues found as per bug 149285 comment 12 and bug 149285 comment 13.
