Description
Ian Skerrett
As documented in the "explain..." link on the /projects page (see http://www.eclipse.org/projects/dev_process/project-status-infrastructure.php), each project provides their own meta-data. Either (a) you should bugs against each project and later (b) we can reopen a bug like bug 109221 to automatically audit and suggest meta-data improvements to the projects. Not sure why this was closed WONTFIX -- it would be infinitely more convenient for our users to access the newsgroups directly, rather than to point to a useless archive. As documented in the explain: # Nw (Newsgroup) - the project's newgroup for user discussions The archive doesn't allow for discussion. And there's a typo in newsgroup. All the required information is already in project-info.xml - the name of the newsgroup is all we need. /projects/index.php builds the URL to the archives, so why not simply have it refer to the news portal? A patch will follow. Created attachment 65380 [details]
