On downloading a project from a repository (svn or cvs) I often forget to indicate the nature of the project (java project most of times). Than I have to manually ascii edit the .project file to change the nature which is fine for me, but It would be nice if there is a possibility to do it "eclipse way" right click project->change nature->whatever nature I want..

That would be really cool...

Similar issue is with builders: there is an option under Properties to add a builder to plain project, but there's no Java builder on the list. Additionally to adding an option to change project's nature there should be also option to add Java builder to formerly-plain project. BTW -- I run into this problem often as well.
