Unable to start the debugger. It fails with message "Cannot find a free socket for the debugger".

I am running Eclipse 3.3m6_0327;

Do you have a firewall that might not be allowing the debugger to use a socket? What VM is Eclipse running on? What VM are you trying to debug a program on?

After a reboot of Windows, this works. However, the problem will re-occur after several days w/o a Win reboot. I assume something in windows is eating my sockets.

Let's mark this as not an Eclipse problem.
