Issues with the 20020610 translations 1)The jfacefonts.properties files had some unusual choices for default fonts - for instance in Windows 2000 German Tahoma wasn't used for the banner and text fonts as it is in English. How are the locale specific fonts selected? 2) The following European Locales are now consistant with 1.0 (Asian locales did not have the issue) German, French 3) There are differences in the key mappings languages Italian (nothing was capitalized here for these values as they were in 1.0 but we handle that now so that is no big deal) Return - was Invio, now is Return Delete=was Canc is now Elimina Insert=was Ins is now Inserisci Brazilian Portuguese Return- was Retornar is now Return Page_Up=was P\u00c1gina_para cima is now Page Up Page_Down=was P\u00c1gina_para baixo is now Page Down Home= was Home is now In\u00EDcio End=was Fim is now End Insert=was Inserir is now Insert Spanish (also lower case) Delete=was Supr is now Suprimir Space=was Spacio is now Espaciadora 4) Italian has ? as the translation for Search Help 5)French has an untranslated accelerator for Exécuter -> Ajouter d'un point d'ârret 6) Spanish has an inconsistent translation of Space - it shows up as Espaciadora in the Code Assist menu. Open Type in Hierarchy, Format and Save All were not translated. 7) Brazillian Portuguese does not translate space for the code assist accelerators or Delete for the delete accelerator. Problem is fixed. |
The following accelerators have not been translated correctly. If they are correct all references to the corrected ones need to be updated Also all translations between Ctrl and F12 in org.eclipse.jface.resources.messages.properties should be uppercase - in all locales these are lowercase. German Space=Leertaste. It shows up as Leer throughout the UI and in 1.0. Almost all other translations are different than 1.0. Unless there is a strong reason to do so they should stay the same.
