Description Markus Keller CLA 2007-04-03 05:27:15 EDT
N20070402-0010, same in 3.2.2

- create file.txt with contents:
---
Before
This is line 1
This is line 2
After
---

- save the file
- change to:
---
Before
This is line A
This is line B
This is line A
This is line B
After
---

- select the two lines after "Before"
=> tooltip on he quick diff ruler tells that the lines have been changed

- chose "ruler context menu > Revert Selection"
=> expected:
---
Before
This is line 1
This is line 2
This is line A
This is line B
After
---

=> was:
---
Before
This is line A
This is line B
After
---

- If I add a linebreak after the first "This is line B", then "Revert Selection" does not change anything (should also revert to "This is line 1/2"

Still a pain..., maybe something for you, Prakash?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
