On http://www.eclipse.org/projects/ after clicking on IP the explanation found is: "IP (IP Log) - the project's current IP Log". This recursive definition does not explain what IP means. My best guess is Intellectual Property but when clicking on some, I see a list of contributors and sometimes even an Excel spreadsheet with apparently random names and terms on it.
