Description Paul Webster CLA 2007-03-19 14:42:06 EDT
If I hover over a class or method, I can see the little yellow window. If I press F2, it disappears.

I checked Windows and Linux on I20070319-1005

Do you have a clean install? Was it a Javadoc hover? Did the editor have focus? Was there a "press F2" hint?

I also see this. Needs to be investigated.

You've seen it, but here's my information:

I've just reproduced it on a clean install of I20070319-1335, but with my standard general330 workspace. It was AFAIK a source-code based hover. I had focus in my editor, but you are correct, I didn't see the "press F2" hint.

I re-ran the same test with a new workspace and a plugin with the editor template from the new plugin wizard. It seems to be in the same state, no "press F2" hint.

What a waste of time. After investigating I found out that PDE did not contribute to *any* of the recent I-builds and hence bug 177354 wasn't part of any of those builds and hence F2 being broken.
