- Create a fifo file:
mkfifo test

- list : ls -als =>
0 prw-r--r--  1 brunner lcm    0 2007-03-15 10:37 test

- On Eclipse refresh the folder
=> never finish

Before I delete there files I have many freeze and search will never finish :(

So there's already a problem when invoking 'refresh'?

Yes but we create a new project who allready contains the fifo file the project creation work but the I have freeze and search problem.

I just do :
mkdir test
cd test
mkfifo test

Create a new project on the 'test' folder
Search something on it => will newer finish !

Looks like a platform.resource issue.

Can you follow-up in bug 116728 with a stack trace at the time of the freeze. See
