Description Kevin McGuire CLA 2007-03-13 15:46:19 EDT
We should remove the "minimize" button for the editor stack because it doesn't make sense as a workflow - the editor area is central to tasks.

We still need to allow it to be minimized programatically, specifically as a result of maximizing another view.

OK...but I just got it working...;-).
Comment 2 Kevin McGuire CLA 2007-03-13 15:59:08 EDT
Presumably the behaviour, which needs to remain, was the hard part, not the clicking on the actual button :)
Comment 3 Eric Moffatt CLA 2007-04-02 19:45:20 EDT
Kevin, are we still on for this one ? I'm still somewhat concerned that not having one will be more confusing than having it there.

Comment 4 Kevin McGuire CLA 2007-04-02 19:51:26 EDT
Yes I think we should still do.

As I mentioned, we had removed it from our WID editors and I never noticed until I was discussing this issue with Julian. And I was in charge of the WID UI! So, I don't think anyone will notice its missing, or more to the point, lament its departure.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
