I20070222-0951
Steps:
- Window/Preferences;
- General/Workspace/Linked Resources;
- (default is on for Enable linked resources);
- New...
- Name: ROOT;
- Folder... select c:\ (or another drive root);
- warning: Path does not exist.

Selecting c:\tmp instead works (provided that this directory exists).
I have made no attempt to see whether the result still operates correctly (despite the bogus message) or not.
