I seem to remember that creating a file causes a refresh of the containing folder so that the new file can be seen in the tree. I do not see this happening in either dstore or ssh.

Sounds pretty annoying, and may be due to the recent SystemView changes.

This is working fine for me now.  I suspect one of the changes I've made for 174942 has fixed it.
