Description

The Trac editor for creating new tasks also has an option to add newly created tasks to a category. When opening existing tasks you can use "Move to" from the editor's context menu to copy the task to the task list. In the next release this should also work for tasks opened from search results: bug 170659 . Does that work for you? Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know about "Move to". Adding tasks opened from search results (bug 170659) is a great improvement, but (IMHO) this bug fits _my_ Trac tickets workflow better. Since the personal workflow for working with tickets/issues/bugs varies greatly, I consider this bug to be a "nice to have" feature, while 170659 is a "must have". Yes, improving the workflow by triggering actions when the ticket state is changed would be great. Related: bug 109552, bug 144333, bug 154095 . Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1]. We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub. [1] https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-mylyn |
