Wayne Beaton from The Eclipse Foundation writes:

"If you choose to use Xdoclet, you need to download an install it. However, this not made clear to the user. It'd be handy if it was either bundled or if there was some mechanism to go and get it. At very least, some guidance from the UI to tell you that you need to do this."

Maybe xdoclet facets should contribute a wizard page. That way if library is not available, the finish button in the project creation wizard can be disabled and the user can navigate to the xdoclet page and fix the problem.

I am closing all tickets related to XDoclet as WON'T FIX, because there is no committer to support this functionality. I can review patches if anyone is willing to contribute.
