Is this containable in 4.4? Hubert, can you please update this defect with the specifics as to what needs to change? This bug is not require for 4.4 to ship. I have changed target to 4.4. *** Bug 204544 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The 4.4.1 copyright reports are suffering from this issue (http://download.eclipse.org/tptp/4.4.1/dev/TPTP-4.4.1-200802040100/NeedUpdate). Given the number of files in the report, we cannot check each one in preparation for the release on Feb. 29. Can we get this defect fix in preparation for the 4.4.1 release? Increasing severity this is required to release 4.4.1. This is not only a problem in the 4.4.1 reports but there is a variant of this problem in the 4.5 reports as well. For example, the Test Project files listed in http://download.eclipse.org/tptp/4.5.0/TPTP-4.5.0-200802040400/NeedUpdate are updated in CVS (HEAD) with the 2008 year but are still reported. These files were never changed in another branch other than HEAD so either the end date has not been updated to 2008 or we are reporting on old code. Can we target this for 4.4.1 so we can determine if the dates are correct before the release on Monday? Patch has been checked into HEAD and 441 to fix the following issues: - copyright report scanning files in branches have been checked into HEAD and 441 - moved up during the build process such that the report runs right after the features and plugins have been checked out of CVS - included only files that require epl and excluded static license files Included: *.c *.cpp *.h *.java *.htm *.html *.xhtml *.bat *.properties (plugin, about, messages,misc.) *.exsd *.xsd Verified in TPTP-4.4.1-200802230953. Resolving as fixed. Opened defect# 220276 to track the clean-up of the 'Files missing copyright statements' report (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=220276) Closing. |
