Description
Samson Wai
When I issue "RAStop.sh" on Linux it does not stop the ACServer process. I have to use "kill -9" in order to stop it. I think this should be fixed in 4.4. This is a regression from user's point of view when migrating from RAC to AC. RAStart/RAStop.sh simply call ACStart/ACStop.sh, so I expect that the ACStop script is not working for you either. I know Igor has done some work on these scripts and provided a patch to Paul. Created attachment 58633 [details]
ACStop.sh
Samson, could you try the attached ACstop.sh to stop AC?
Samson, could you review and commit the patch? *** Bug 175252 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reviewed and checked in 2007/02/05 10:24 EST.
