Description Darin Wright CLA 2007-02-06 16:18:12 EST
I pressed an exception name hyperlink in the console but nothing appeared to happen (so I pressed it a few more times). Eventually 4 exception breakpoint dialogs opened all at once to configure the breakpoint properties.

If the search for the breakpoint type takes time we should have better feedback. A job is run, which shows progress in the status bar, but it is not very noticeable, and does not prevent me from pressing the link again.

Perhaps the console view should show that it is busy. As well, the name of the job could be improved - it currently just shows "Searching..." but does not say what it is searching for.

Not planned for 3.3
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2020-04-26 05:07:56 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
