Description:
[Linux]BIRT preview will cause frequently eclipse crash.

Build number:2.2.0.v20070124

Test Environment:
Redhat Linux AS4 and Redhat Linux AS3
Eclipse 3.3 EMF 2.3 GEF 3.3 JDK 1.5

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install BIRT AllInOne.
2. Open eclipse and do some operation including data source and dataset creation.
3. Click Preview in Layout.
4. Click Layout

Actual result:
The steps above will frequently cause eclipse crash but not always. Each operation especially preview will frequently cost 3-5 minutes to response, this  is unacceptable and block our daily smoke testing in these platforms.
I'm not sure what component this bug should belong to. If I assign a wrong Component, please reassign it, thanks.
