Description Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-01-16 14:39:09 EST
Bugzilla Task Editor don't highlight all changes. Namely, keywords, dependent and blocked bugs.
Comment 1 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-01-16 14:42:00 EST
Apparently it is inconsistent. Probably happens because local task didn't have data before opening editor.
Comment 2 Robert Elves CLA 2007-01-16 14:53:22 EST
Yes, this is likely the case.
Comment 3 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-01-16 15:02:05 EST
BTW, I noticed that Attributes section don't expand in some cases (i.e. when dependent bugs are changed)
Comment 4 Robert Elves CLA 2007-01-16 15:09:15 EST
Hmmm okay, I'll just reopen and rename this report and have a look....
Comment 5 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-01-16 15:30:30 EST
By the way, should we highlight section headers for all sections that have updates?
Comment 6 Robert Elves CLA 2007-01-16 15:37:24 EST
That would be nice, I'll see if we can do that (if the section widget supports it).
Comment 7 Robert Elves CLA 2007-01-16 17:08:45 EST
Fixed. Attributes section expanding properly and changed custom attributes highlighted.

After trying it out I think since we're expanding and highlighting changed attributes, highlighting the section may not be necessary. Feel free to create a new report though if you think it is really necessary.

I think I just had attributes section not expand when there were changes to component and priority.
Comment 10 Robert Elves CLA 2007-01-19 18:01:09 EST
Fixed.
Comment 11 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-01-21 20:12:45 EST
Rob, I often see also see comments section not expanded too. When I open it there are some comments marked as new. Another strange thing there is that it usually mark last comment as new too (along with newly added comments).

Rob: I may have noticed this too, and I think that this may be the case when we have no offline data.

I'll take a look...
Comment 14 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2007-01-22 13:42:43 EST
Mik, I don't think it is relared to offline data. I see it on tasks that I have definitely opened before.

Is it possible that the highlighted items are just not being unhighlighted (bug#166045)
Comment 16 Robert Elves CLA 2007-01-24 13:04:17 EST
This should be fixed, if not please reopen.
 (In reply to comment #11)
Should be fixed now (will be in Friday's dev build). If behavior isn't as desired please comment on bug#166045.
