I think this one is for you Marius to investigate. This needs to be fixed in 4.4. I think we looked at this problem and was triggered by the fact that cleanup was not called when the import was finished, I'll look into it again. Yes please, and if the cleanup solves the problem then Cindy would need to do it in her code. Could not be contained in i1, deferring to i2. Could not be contained in i2, deferring to i3. Assigning this to Rohit to investigate. The problem is likely with the org.eclipse.hyades.logging.parsers.internal.adapter.formatters.LocalLogImportCBEFormatter Formatter that is used during local log import. The necessary cleanup is likely not being done. Please work with Marius and Cindy to investigate and resolve this. Rohit cannot reproduce this problem with TPTP 4.4. I also could not reproduce it with TPTP 4.3.1 and TPTP 4.4. It appears this problem only occurs with the 4.2.x stream. I confirmed with Alex and Marius that changes introduced in TPTP 4.3 for providing a log import service and refactoring the log import code to separate the UI from the service code resulted in the event processing data not being displayed in the UI any longer. I will close this bugzilla as WORKSFORME. If consuming products want this fixed in the 4.2.x stream, they can open a new bugzilla. As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since the originator of this enhancement/defect has an inactive Bugzilla account and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open. |
