Description Curtis Windatt CLA 2006-12-12 15:22:49 EST
Build ID: I20061212-0010

When suspended at a breakpoint, run an evaluation using inspect or display on a code that will hit a different breakpoint. You must have your preferences set up to suspend on breakpoints during evaluations (this is the default behaviour). The evaluation will suspend at the breakpoint, changing the selected frame. when evaluation is complete, the inspect popup dialog will appear at the second breakpoint. The variables view will display "Invalid stack frame" and no frame will be selected in the debug view.

It would be better if the popup dialog opened up where the inspect action was originally invoked. It would also be better if the suspended stack frame was selected when the evaluation is done.

The popup seems to appear in the correct position now, but no frame is selected when the evaluation is complete.
Comment 3 Eclipse Genie CLA 2019-07-25 17:10:08 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
