Description
Dirk Segelhorst
The severity grouping is internally the default grouping. It would make more sense for us to do it in the sdk plug-in so as not to muck about RCP apps that use the IDe application. Good idea though. I would be interested in seeing any work you may have done in this area as well. Created attachment 54970 [details]
Patch showing my intention
The patch is just a quick hack, but it shows my intention. It allows to set in plugin_customization.ini the initial "Group by":
<code>
# Set default Group by for Problems view
org.eclipse.ui.ide/DEFAULT_GROUP_BY=<grouping id>
</code>
You can define this in 3.4 in your own content generator. If you use ours just select the grouping you want and it will be restored when you restart Verified in I20080205-0800 Tod, did we end up using this patch? No - this was covered by the work in 3.4 that had already been done. |
