Description Henrik Lindberg CLA 2006-11-30 04:51:49 EST
Implement a Project Wizard that helps with "buckminstrifying" a project. The wizard should aid the user in understanding what Buckminster can knows about a project, and how this can be extended with Buckminster artifacts.

See specification on the Eclipse wiki at http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Project_Wizard_Specification_%28Buckminster%29

Should this be part of the "Active project management" feature that we have been discussing?
Comment 2 Henrik Lindberg CLA 2008-01-27 10:22:29 EST
yes
Comment 3 Henrik Lindberg CLA 2009-09-01 09:16:09 EDT
I think this issue is stale - closing as WON'T FIX.

Such a wizard was jusk asked for at the OSGi Build Workshop in Darmstadt after Achim's Buckminster presentation. Imho being able to select features / bundles to build and getting created project, cspec, rmap (determining the URLs from the projects to build) for standard types of projects by a wizard might help new users a lot. Any reason for closing it / can we reopen it?
Comment 5 Thomas Hallgren CLA 2010-04-15 06:55:17 EDT
I'm reopening. If you feel that you'd like to take a stab on this, or know of anyone that would, we're of course very interested.
