Description
Willian Mitsuda
This require Mik revert his changes around TasksUiUtil.getSelectedRepository(StructuredViewer viewer), or make that method to actually use selection service (and then check for active editor, etc). So, idea of special adaptable seem very reasonable. Shawn: please consider looking into this as part of the bug 203471 work since it will be required for the pre-selection to work as expected from the Task Editor. As part of this you may also want to add a "New -> Task" action to the Task Editor. Tentatively scheduling for 2.2. *** Bug 205381 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Shawn: are you still considering this for 2.2? Would need to be done before end-of-day Wednesday. I wont be able to get time to look at this before wed. Any progress on this? Currently there are several actions like new task from selection or clone task that can be invoked from the task editor and for those actions new task wizards don't preselect task repositories or components. It also affects 3rd party integrations who are using NewTaskAction.showWizard(TaskSelection taskSelection) call (which been suggested to be moved to TasksUiUtil class). Code in comment #4 on bug 214188 include solution for this issue as well. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 203471 *** |
