Description Carolyn MacLeod CLA 2006-11-27 06:18:28 EST
I am going to attach a snap of the Bugzilla home page taken on my home monitor, which is set at 1024 x 768.
Please note that the page is not useful the way it comes up - I have to scroll down in order to see anything related to Bugzilla.
Please make sure that at least the Create and Search sections of the Bugzilla main page show up when I click on https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/

Thanks!

Note that the page also issues a security warning in Firefox because it contains unencrypted content. I think thats because of the mixture of https and http content.

Ugh, that looks awful. I too run 1024x768 and my page looks nothing like that.

When I get home tonight, I'll look up which version of IE I'm using.
Still, even older versions (which I most certainly have) should look somewhat better than that, I agree. Do you have access to an older machine? (XP SP1, I believe)
Comment 5 Denis Roy CLA 2006-11-27 10:13:45 EST
I'll install the Phoenix templates on bugs.eclipse.org to remove the security warnings. Also, I'll look into the problem on MSIE -- firefox seems to render the page just fine.

I've fixed this. That one page was using a wrong page declaration. Carolyn, can you verify that it renders correctly on your MSIE?

Second snap of Bugzilla main page

Nope - sorry - worse than before. Snapshot attached.

*sigh* I need to test these things from an external connection more often, as our internal one behaves differently for the bugzilla site. Apologies for the incompetence.

Anyway, from an external connection, using Firefox on Linux, the page now renders OK. I can't test externally on MSIE as I'm too cheap to buy Windows for home usage. Does it look okay? On a MSIE computer here it looks okay, but that's not saying much.
