Description Scott Lewis CLA 2006-11-23 16:10:26 EST
Create a CORBA-based ECF provider. Implement desired extension APIs (e.g. filetransfer, presence, remoteservice, sharedobject?, new API?).

Adding helpwanted flag and setting target milestone to 1.2.0.
Comment 2 Scott Lewis CLA 2007-10-16 14:11:57 EDT
I'm marking this as fixed, as we now have CORBA-based providers (themselves using the JMS spec. For example, the weblogic JMS provider at http://ecf1.osuosl.org uses CORBA for underlying transport).

If this is not sufficient, then please reopen...but be aware that we are probably going to need a contribution to get a separate CORBA provider implemented anytime soon. Any such contributions would be very welcome, however.
