The arrow keys let you navigate the toc, however if you expand some books such that the view has to scroll, using the arrow keys scrolls the view in addition to navigating the toc, which is confusing.

Is it possible to only scroll if the selection goes outside the view?

Yes this is something I still need to get fixed.

I have this mostly fixed. I'm still seeing the expander icon sometimes getting scrolled out of view (the old TOC view also had this problem) when you use the arrow keys or tabs and you navigate to a topic whose title is longer than the width of the frame, that needs to be fixed before this bug can be closed.

This is now fixed, the expander of the focused item will now always be visible as will as much of the title as possible.
