Description Erkki Lindpere CLA 2006-11-20 12:32:02 EST
I've mentioned this before in a bug about the redesign (but couldn't find that), but annoys the hell out of me that http://www.eclipse.org/home/categories/rcp.php is missing links to probably the most relevant newsgroups to the subject: eclipse.platform.rcp and eclipse.platform.swt -- I don't personally need those links, but an RCP-centered page having a link to several tangential newsgroups and not the actual RCP one is weird.

The eclipse.platform.rcp newsgroup is linked in the Getting Started Section.

Oops, sorry. But it's still somehow not really that visible.

I do see what you mean, and we have discussed this while we were putting together the category pages. I suppose the most logical place to put those newsgroup links would be in the related projects table, however RCP isnt a project of its own. So adding it to the table doesnt fit what we use that space for.

Isn't there a way we can fix this? This seems so obvious.

Comment 6 Nathan Gervais CLA 2007-10-24 09:09:29 EDT
I've added a side nav of its own to display the two newsgroups specified.

Marking as Fixed.
