Bug 163039

Summary: [JUnit] "Rerun last test - failures first" does not force a build (JUnit3)
Product: [Eclipse Project] JDT Reporter: Christian Rang <cra>
Component: UIAssignee: Markus Keller <markus.kell.r>
Status: CLOSED WONTFIX QA Contact:
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Version: 3.2.1
Target Milestone: ---
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 2000
Whiteboard: stalebug

Description Christian Rang CLA 2006-11-01 05:40:40 EST
The normal "Rerun last test" button forces a save and a build, however the "Rerun last test - failures first" button only forces a save, so the failed tests continue to fail until a build is done manually.

If the "build automatically" option is turned ON, the build seems to happen after the first re-run, so the second re-run is done with up-to-date class files.

This *may* be related to Bug #96273 reported for 3.1, but saving seems to work now in 3.2.1
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2020-01-28 06:46:37 EST
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
