I'm not certain that this is a Mylar bug, but here goes.

I've had my proxy config set up in Eclipse for quite a while, and it appears to work fine for what I've used it for.

I was able to create a Bugzilla repository for Eclipse.org, and that appeared to work fine (as this is created through that).

I then tried to create a JIRA repository for Spring, and when I clicked on "Validate Settings", it failed with "(407)Proxy Authentication Required".

We'll be reviewing the way that JIRA does authentication this week.

Eugene: are you using any JIRA repositories behind a proxy?
Comment 2 Eugene Kuleshov CLA 2006-10-31 23:44:19 EST
I haven't been behind proxy for some time now.

If none of the developers you work with are behind a proxy, I'd be willing to be a guinea pig. If you help me with the setup, I'd be able to step through it in the debugger, if necessary. I can also share my desktop through LiveMeeting, if you need to see it in action.
