Status: CLOSED WONTFIX QA Contact:
Severity: normal
Priority: P5 Keywords: helpwanted

Description Peter Portante CLA 2006-10-09 14:08:41 EDT
Start with the file:

#
# $id$
#

Now, check it in to CVS with -ko or -kb.

Check it out, change to:

##
# $id#
#

Now enable -kkv on the file, and it will automatically get checked back into CVS without given the user any warning that that action will be taken.

-peter

ps - sorry if this is a dup, as I only performed a cursory search of the bug database.

There is a Comment page at the end, but if you click finish before then, it will commit without prompting you. A warning would be nice, but we don't plan to address this in 3.3. Patches are welcome.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
